Landon
The
Talkative Town
By:
Students of Clemiston Elementary
I
think that the lesson is that please is an important word and you
should say please and not talk too much. In the story everyone was
talking and no one could stop them. Then Penny said please and all
the people stopped.
The
story reminds me of the time I was playing video games and then my
brother asked to play without saying please. I told him saying please
was polite so he said it. In the book when Penny didn't say please so
she didn't get what she wanted. When she did say please she got it.
One time I asked my mom if I could go in her room, I said please so
she said yes. I felt happy. In the story when everybody calmed down
she felt happy too.
I
liked the way it rhymed in every page. Like hammering and stammering
and stay and play. I also liked that in some pages some people had
arms and in different pages they didn't. In some pages Penny had arms
but in different ones she didn't.
